Dr Denny Gunawan – Pacific Hydrogen Roadmap

Denny is a Postdoctoral research fellow at UNSW, where he recently received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, focusing on improving photocatalytic solar hydrogen production through catalyst design and reactor engineering. As the SAF and Renewable Diesel Opportunity Assessment Lead for the Pacific Hydrogen Strategy, Denny brings a comprehensive perspective on energy transition to the table and leverages his experience in conducting techno-economic studies for powerfuel technology and its applications.

The development of the Pacific Hydrogen Strategy is being led by the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney consortia, supported by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) the Pacific Community (SPC), and the University of South Pacific (USP). The Strategy is being funded by Australian Government’s Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW)
