Jaco is a Power-to-Fuel researcher and a final-year PhD student at UNSW, with a focus on renewable fuel value chain economics. His affiliations include the School of Chemical Engineering at UNSW Sydney, and the ARC Training Centre for the Global Hydrogen Economy. As the Methanol Opportunity Assessment Lead for the Pacific Hydrogen Strategy, Jaco leverages his extensive expertise in feasibility studies, open-source development of renewable fuel projects including methanol, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and synthetic natural gas (SNG), as well as strategy road mapping for industry and government.
